I am a white male in 11th grade. My cumulative GPA is a 3.46 unweighted and a 3.96 weighted (out of 4). I have been doing very well this year and I am sure that I will raise it to a 4.167 weighted and a 3.67 unweighted (not cumulatively, but for the year). I have been on the staff of Solstice, my school's literary and art publication, since the beginning of my freshman year, and I hope to have a leadership role in it next year as a senior (There are no juniors in the club now, and if anyone joins the club as a senior next year, I still will have been part of the club longer than they have). I have also been a member of the Gay-Straight alliance since sophomore year, and since I am one of only 2 juniors in it and I'm the most regular attendee of the meetings, I hope to have a leadership role in it next year. This year is my first year being part of the "Let's Help Out," club, which will allow me to rack up some community service hours, but I don't know how many. The AP classes that I have taken and am taking this year are: AP European History (grade 10), AP U.S. History (grade 11), and AP Language and Composition (grade 11). The honors classes that I have taken and am taking this year are: Biology (grade 9), English 1 (grade 9), World History (grade 9), Earth Science (grade 10), English 2 (grade 10), and Chemistry (grade 11). I have only taken one AP exam for European History. I received a 5 on it. I haven't taken the ACT yet but we'll just have assume that I'll get a 30 judging by how I scored on other standardized test scores (I've always been in the 99th percentile).
